About
Since 1984, the Larkin Street Youth Services organization has provided a comprehansive continuum of care to homeless and runaaway youth ages 12–24 in San Francisco, California.
Integrated into all programs are mental health, substance abuse, and S.T.I. prevention counseling. Access to a full spectrum of education and employment services is also available.

Transitional Housing
The transitional housing programs are designed for youth to gain the skills needed to reach the highest level of self-sufficiency. These programs offer intensive case management, psychosocial support, individual/group counseling, and life skills development. Youth create individualized courses of action for life, including employment, education, life skills, and health goals. Eligibility, the application process, program expectations, and fees vary. 15-bed congregate housing in a two-year program. Emphasis on building a feeling of community in the Haight-Ashbury District of San Francisco, California amongst youth, neighbors, and local merchants.

Scattered-site housing for emancipated foster care youth, including pregnant/parenting youth. Studio, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom apartments in a two-year program. LEASE placement requires a referral and eligibility confirmation from the Independent Living Skills Program (ILSP).
